Something that seems wrong in the proof Kennedy set.

It says that the highest possible rating is 69.69, yet the top set - which has all top pop coins - is rated at 69.63? BTW, he just added the last couple commons he needed to zoom past us all and in to 1st.image

OK, I have worked out my next set, I am going to collect slabbed moose droppings in MS-70 condition. Lets see someone match me in that set. Bear

  • Hey Bear - I've got a line on some "raw" droppings. A friend of mine in Alaska sent me some "nuggets" from Manfred Moose. PM your P.O. Box and I'll send them down to you. I'm not sure how to grade them so you'll have to decide if they're real jewels and good enough to slab. Now some of you probably think I'm joking but I'm dead serious......... they sell these things in little packages up in Alaska (and to believe we actually admitted them into the union). I've had them for several years now and have been wondering what to do with them. They've been in a dark drawer for awhile now and are starting to tone a little bit (no spectacular colors....... just kind of a dingy...... or is that "dungy" brown). With all thats happened to Bear today (getting knocked outta the #1 spot) I can't think of anyone who deserves these nuggets more. I'll get them packaged up tonite and drop 'em in the mail as soon as I get the address. I hope they'll cheer you up some! Sincerely, Osiris image

EBL now has a set that cannot be upgraded. I'm glad he will get the recognition he deserves. That's about $70,000 - $80,000 retail sitting in first place. WOW!

  • I have no idea why his score does not equal the finest possible. He does have a '65 SMS in 67 DCAM, perhaps there exists one in 69 Cam? I haven't checked. Otherwise the calculation of the finest possible may be off.

Anyway that is clearly a top set!

I wonder what that would feel like; to be at the top and unable to go any higher.

All I can say is Wow. Most impressive, and truly a noteworthy collection. I wonder what's next?
