Beckett BVG Slabs

I Put them well behind PSA and SGC in terms of quality of grading, but also don't like their "fortress" slab which to me has WAY too much PLASTIC and not enough CARDBOARD.
Don't you think they would do better with a sleeker/cleaner slab which highlights the card more than the holder? I know this is a PSA board but wonder if you all think this is another factor that keeps vintage guys away from BVG graded cards......

I grade 95% of my cards with PSA and like them much more for my collection and for resale, but I do think the mylar sleeve that Beckett uses to protect the card from sliding has merit.
BVG slabs are a beast. Dont have worry about fake cards.
IT CAN'T BE A TRUE PLAYOFF UNLESS THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONS ARE INCLUDED
I like the thinner more sleek look that PSA offers and they stack better,
I have purchased many BGS graded cards and only have one left in their slabs. They are very easy to crack without risking damaging the card because of the sleeve inside.
I actually am in the minority and prefer the BGS/BVG slab. Between the internal sleeve, thickness of the case and completely tamper-proof seal, you never have to worry about card damage on side rails or resealed holders. Unfortunately for BGS fans, PSA dominates the market. I personally think this is due to their innovation of the registry as the two companies were battling for grading supremacy. Both companies have knowledgeable graders, but the registry won out over subgrades. To each their own, but when it comes strictly to the holder, I like the BGS case better.
I have bought BVG, BGS, SGC, and PSA. In the end, I like them all. Now, let's get ready for LSU vs Alabama. I've got my booze, my ingredients to make chili, and my cell phone ( to call the fire department when I'm smashed and the chili burns and catches on fire.) Let's get it on!
They each have their pros and cons for my style
psa pros - market dominance, set registry, sleek design, guarantee, prices realized
psa cons - trimming thing, previous holder security, turnover times
bvg pros - holder security, inner sleeves, dedicated turn around times, sub grades
bvg cons - too bulky, insider grading and leaf debacles, no registry, no guarantee
sgc pros - older holders and labels.
sgc cons - removed guarantee, signature scandal, new holders
have never subbed to sgc or bvg.
