NBA Uniform Heaven

I hate to be "when I was young I had to walk 12 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel" guy, but the throwbacks worn by the Clippers and Blazers yesterday are far superior than anything from today. Plus, the first 5000 fans got a pair of tube socks:

    As long as the incorrectly sized uniforms of the old Kentucky Colonels don't make an appearance.

    I think the NBA has done a really fantastic job with mixing in throwback unis. Loved that the Raptors wore their Dino uniforms last month in a game vs. Atlanta (Vince Carter present). Speaking of Atlanta, anything is better than this abomination:

    I was tickled to death when I saw the highlights of this game later that night.

    I can clearly remember those Blazers unis from the '77 Finals (not an especially good memory overall) but the Braves had gone to two tone blue by the time I started watching the NBA for real. My main memory of these wonderful uniforms the ClipperBraves wore is McAdoo's '74 Topps card.
