I am more worried about direction of the market / lower population of collectors.
If the bids pulsing say 5-10 pct a week I don’t think the sales tax issue would be a big deal. In Commems bids seem to be not moving at all these are some of the most historical beautiful coins in US Numismatics.

I assume you mean 5 to 10 percent per YEAR?

Ebay will remain relevant as long as buyers have the perception that they are getting a good deal. Personally I am buying less on Ebay than I used to because of what I term as too much "clutter": fully graded/priced coins from national dealers, and then of course the fakes and frauds.
What about sales tax on legal tender? When I look at Utah state sales tax law, it says legal tender is exempt from sales tax. Tried to buy 90% silver and sales tax was added
Excellent BST board members who complete their deals: WONDERCOIN, DABIGKAHUNA, GEMSTATECOINS, FIVECENTS, SILVEREAGLES92, NEWMISMATIST, GTOster, SCHMITZ7,
