This is an 1894 restrike of the 1794 1st Canadian token which only a few survived. 100 years later the dies were discovered in England when an individual restruck 12 in silver and 50 in copper bronze.

Below is an excerpt from a 1913 publication on Canadian Coppers...

RECENT RESTRIKE OF A CANADIAN TOKEN
We learn that the dies of the Halfpenny Token of the Copper Com
pany of Upper Canada have recently been discovered in England, and
it is with the utmost dissatisfaction that we have read an announce
ment of a dealer in that country, that they are now in his possession,
and that he will strike twelve specimens in silver and fifty in bronze,
at $10 and $5 respectively.
It is by such mercenary and much to be deplored proceedings as
this, that the science is smirched, and suspicion unjustly cast upon
it. It is detrimental to both the collector and the dealer. There are
far too many pieces of this class circulating from cabinet to cabinet,
and frequently through the medium of the auction room. It is true
their character is sometimes plainly indicated, but they are often smug
gled into the market without a word of comment, or described in terms
purposely misleading. We are of the opinion that all those who value
and esteem the science and desire to see its integrity and authenticity
preserved, will carefully withhold their countenance from the proposed
enterprise of Mr. J. Rochelle Thomas, and decline to purchase his
“ Brummagem ” wares.

I love the token, but two recent collections of them seem to have depressed the market, both for the originals and especially the restrikes. (I bought one original and two different restrikes over the last two years.)

You are probably better off holding it for a few more years to let the market for them improve.
