I see Rip as well. The last name I see -alave-s what era is the ball?
Rip V. Winkle?
Maybe haynes or haines on the last name??
This is about the clearest photo I can get of it. There are also several faded autos including one right on the sweet spot. I am not sure what era ball this is from, no markings at all.
I see Rip Talavera or Talavesa? But no baseball matches with google search.

Talavera has actually been previous speculations with no results. Might have been just a couple of buddies who signed it?
Ralph Branca
If it has a official ball and president of the league on it that may help age the ball.

I'm stumped. I stared at this ball for what seemed like hours, searched google for half the night, I gotta..... I gotta get away from this man. I'm freakin out man.
Nope just a plain ball no markings at all unfortunately.
I really appreciate all the efforts guys thanks a ton. I've researched for quite a long time on it and came up with nothing even on the other autographs which are mostly too faded.
Perhaps it's from a minor leaguer that never made it. Or college.
Exactly what I was thinking. Probably minor league or college.

i have no clue.. was checking all ralph names or ones close to it
Wondering if shining a black light on it might bring up the image a little bit better?
Not sure either way.
How many stitches ?
I spent way too much time on this and I kept coming back to Ray Jablonski but his signature looks nothing like this. I hope someone comes up with an answer.
