2002 Nationals coming.... Where and When will 2003 be???

Guys,

You've all made me very jealous that you're heading to the Nationals in Chicago. I've felt a little better hearing that Dom, Vargha, Gemmint and a couple others are can't make it as well (misery loves company!)image

But, what I'm trying to find out is where its going to be in 2003. I've heard rumors of Anaheim and Atlantic City. Also - any idea on what dates it might be?

I think that Las Vegas would be an ideal location as it is errrrrrrrrrrrrr, centrally located in the United States with great hotel accommodations for the participants. image

I think it should be held in Atlantic City Then it could be called

The 2003 National convention is in Atlantic City.

I know I won't be going home with any money in my pockets because if I don't see something I like I'm sure the casinos will get it.

Buying 1957 Baseball PSA 8 or higher. Especially Checklists, and Contest Cards. Topps1957psa8set@aol.com

FB - it would have been fun to meet everyone, but it wasn't in the "cards" this year. Let's make fun of everyone going to the National while they're away.

For 2003 the board reported Atlantic City then I heard Anaheim. If it's A.C. we should all get together at a craps table and go for it $$!!

    Gemmint,

Yeah this one didn't work for me as well. I'll be on the beach in North Carolina instead.

GEMMINT - I also remember someone saying A.City after I complained that Chicago had its share of the National, this is what their 4th or 5th National. I was all pysched to plan an A.City trip, con the wife and state "I had no idea there was a card show". Then someone else stated Anaheim, which is a wee bit different that New Jersey. Does someone know which one it is? Or if either. I say we should hold the National at the ZARDOZ estate, lord knows he has enough room. And the ticket will be a Canseco graded rookie, at least til the supply runs out... jay

Couldn't help but chime in on the hot topic. I just returned from a professional convention (yes, actual true story) in Reno, NV. Although I am a regular visitor to Vegas, it was a first visit to Reno and I thought it was boring image Outside of the gambling, there is none of the neon, glitz, or t@*$ worth staying awake for. It reminded me of A.C. If it weren't the National--and the rare opportunity to meet the fellow collectors--I'd be elsewhere for sure!

I'm looking ahead to White Plains in August and Ft. Wash. in December. Will be glad to give blackjack tutorials in exchange for 1967 or 1968 PSA 8's image

    Hey Now,

Let's be nice to Atlantic City. It's not the greatest place on earth, but I still call it home. Where else can you get dirty beaches, a sludge filled ocean, and us miserable locals?

If your coming though, don't cross Pacific Avenue. You may leave a little "lighter" than you came. (And it's not the casinos I'm talking about). image

The more I speak to fellow collectors/dealers, the more I notice that "gambling" is in their blood. image Honestly tho, if we had enough people going - I doubt we'd have to pay for anything (food, rooms, etc).
