Coin Alignment Proof

This is the first time I have seen this on a slab. Photo pulled from Ebay. There is not much info I can find on this. Would someone mind sharing what exactly a Coin Alignment Proof is? Is it as simple as it sounds?

The alignment isn’t an issue on most Proof coins, so is very rarely noted. Some Gobrecht dollars are a different story, however. This is a long read, but it should be helpful: https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/category/dollars/liberty-seated-dollar/type-1-flying-eagle-reverse-stars-1836/740

The cliff notes version:
Coin alignment = Top of obverse design mates up with Bottom of reverse design
Medal alignment = Top of obverse design mates up with Top of reverse design
