1829 LM-3 Half Dime with reverse cud; R7
Very rare late die state with full reverse cud. To my knowledge, only a handful are known, mostly in low grade and with problems.
Half Dime collectors know that examples of this die state rarely come up for sale. The most recent appearance was in Perkins' sale of the Steve Crain (August 2019 ANA Show) in which his PCGS XF45 example (ex. Reiver) realized $7590. Perkins also sold a different PCGS XF45 piece at the 2015 ANA show for $7906. The example offered here will cost you much less.

I have had this piece for about 10 years. It is ungraded. I grade XF. The piece has some luster remaining (a bit more on the reverse than on the obverse.) The coin is problem-free......no repairs etc. Click on the pic to enlarge.
