Looks like you grasped the brass ring on the Merry-Go-Round today.
The most recent Krause (if I picked the correct coin):
OMG, thanks Bill, really appreciated your help !!!
Note that Krause's description is probably defective - Numista says the total coin weight is 4.22 grams and presumably the Gold center is 3.11 grams (one tenth of a Troy ounce). That's my best guess about the situation. Not that the bullion is the main factor in value.
Wow!
I picked up a small proof silver Chinese coin back in that era. I'll have to dig it out to see if I also hit the jackpot (or at least a smaller one).
I guess it's off to our host for grading. Thank you all for your helpful responses !!!
If the goal is a sale, just go to Winter FUN. If you have the original capsules, boxes and certs, I doubt that you need to have it slabbed. IMHO.
Yes let someone else worry about that.
And keep the OGP no matter what...
My current plan is to keep it. Get it graded by our host and keep it with the original capsule, certs, and box !!!
