Pictured next to a normal dime. The edge of this dime is very flat however, some reeding is still evident. Weighs 2.3 like its supposed too.

Use a spoon and tap around the edges. Usually to make a ring. Or some type of coin jewelry.
Quicker methods are to use a hammer and electric tools.
