Error - 1981 Scratch Off

Ran across this anomaly last night ripping a box of 1981 Topps Scratch-offs. Was hoping the Lopes panel w/Garvey would yield the same error.

Lopes. One background panel is orange, one is purple.

I'm kinda glad that the Garvaey card DIDN'T have the variation. That would be one more thing I'd have to spend money on!

I have a set of these and the Lopes is the standard version in both cases.

Perhaps uncorrected error? Does anyone have one with the pink background of the same card?

Lopes appears on several panels in the same position, 5 or 6 different ones. The colors are not uniform on all panel. There is a thread on 54 debating the total number of possible panels (144 in my set) and you can see examples of different colors in panels
