Ban this dirtbag from ever playing again.
"Burfict during his time in Cincinnati was repeatedly suspended by the NFL for egregious hits and violating its policy on performance-enhancers. He was fined regularly for hits that crossed the line, most notably the one to Antonio Brown’s head that helped the Steelers rally for an 18-16 playoff win in the 2015 season."

I'm a Browns fan and my closest friend is a Steelers fan, we revel over seeing this player get penalties, fines and ejections. you are correct, I feel he needs to be banned before he seriously hurts another player because it just seems that's what he's trying to do. he is a bad-ass maniac which is the only reason he isn't retaliated against, but he really needs to go.
The guy plays like he definitely wants to hurt someone. It’s unnecessary, he can get out his fury by harnessing it and playing the game the way it’s supposed to be played. I think his suspension is fitting due to his history, I think the correct way to hand him going forward is what they did today and suspend him for the season every time he gets a flagrant personal foul like that.
I'm just surprised that it took them long for the league to determine enough is enough. I wonder.... if he went to his union to appeal the ban, could they turn their back on him?
My (non football of course) experience with unions is that at a certain point they turn their backs on you.
A guy got fired from a place I used to work for having 25 cents worth of electrical connectors in his lunchbox. Union wouldn't appeal theft of company property.
Depends on the Union though, regardless if they like you or not legally they have to fight for you unless you are stone cold at fault for a direct violation of company policy where the penalty is termination, and yea theft is tough to defend. In Burficts case he can play the “he was in motion” card maybe, whether they fight for him or not though remains to be seen.
A strong union will always defend its members even if it's to negotiate a better outcome, though at some point even they have to admit you've burned your bridges and face the music.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
I recently read Bill Romanowski's autobiography entitled"Romo". He was a vicious player. He broke Dave Meggett's finger on purpose.
I watched a video on Youtube of a compilation his dirty hits.
This guy would have been classified as a dirty player in any era.
Frankly, most of the hits shown were quite cowardly.
I totally agree with the ban.
normally i would never condone this under any circumstance, but in this special case i do. i enjoyed JuJu rocking him to sleep then standing over his filthy ass so much that i watched it 5 times in a row with a smile on my face the entire time.

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
He was dirty, I know he spit in a guy’s face as well. He would be suspended all the time if he were playing now.
I want to suspend his parents , spellcheck the birth certificate next time
His father was a gang banging drug dealer, not hard to realize why this guy plays angry lol
Yes, that explains a lot. Most people are a product of their environment.
So true, but having played the game for as long as he has and being around other players for all this time, you would think his attitude and the way he plays the game would change, even if it's just a little
meh it wasn't as bad as some other hits he delivered. This is more of a worthless bengals issue , that was encouraged there and it became normal for him to play that way.
suspension appeal rejected and this guy is done for the season. perhaps we will see him retire or be released and become un-employable.
I’m not all that suprised he got his suspension affirmed. I think the Players Union is probably fed up with him trying to injure someone
