    Rendon. I've liked the look of his game from when he first came to the majors. Knock on him was that he didn't play a full season....always hurt at some point. We know see what he can do playing a full season. With Harper gone, he was the big threat that carried his team to the postseason, and third base is a more difficult position than 1B. We wouldn't be having this thread if Yelich didn't get hurt.

    Similar to the AL, Yelich was clearly the best hitter in the league, when he was available to hit. In this case, though, I think Yelich was enough better than Bellinger and Rendon that I'd still give him the MVP despite missing so many games. It's close, though, and any of these three would be fine picks.

    This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.
