To slab or not to slab.

What do y’all think? Not exceptionally valuable but I think it’s a superb coin. Original surfaces and full of luster.

It looks like it has some rim damage. I know nothing about whether collectors of this coin care about it being slabbed but I would not advise spending the money on it..

    All glory is fleeting.

Depends on your goals. If you like your coins in slabs, go for it. It may not be 'worth' it financially, but sometimes it's nice to have a date run, protection, symmetry, etc. I personally have slabbed many coins just to have them fit a 'set', even if only in my own mind...literally pocket change for my 'slabbed type set' of Japanese coins.
