I think it was Lee...feartheterps....what was his user ID again?
CDsNuts
That’s who it was!! Thanks!!
LOL, that was definitely Lee. It's funny how we associate avatars with people on here.
RIP to the man behind one of the best lines of 80’s cinema.
As to the man behind the avatar here, I’d estimate about half the reason I still check in on the board these days is that I await the triumphant day when a cool customer with 2 posts and a familiar face drops a dripping-with-sarcasm retort to some smart alec impatiently waiting for his EX/MT ‘77 Tom Seaver, or otherwise, to arrive.
Then... Then, I can be happy.
While this is actually very sad, someone get him a body bag.
It had to be said.
And CDsNuts was a very good poster. Was he one of the primary droll posters in the classic Nolan Ryan Milton Bradley thread?
CDSNuts (Lee) was an epic member of this forum. No doubt. The board was MUCH MUCH different back in those days. Time marches on ...

Lee was great and I enjoyed his posts.
You are right about the board being different back then.Didn't care for the cliques and countless inside jokes.
Not sure it was better but certainly more active.
As a long time reader. I enjoyed reading CDNuts posts. Often I would laugh out loud at his comments. I admit he had my kind of sarcastic in your face humor. I know that is not everyone's style but, if we can't laugh at each other once in awhile then we are taking this hobby way too serious. Even though I never knew him, I miss his threads. I believe the forum was more entertaining back then.
