don't look now, but his youngest is ascending up the big board at warp speed. rumor has it that he may very well be the #1 overall pick by the time next year's NBA draft rolls around.
scouting report says that LaMelo has sprouted to 6'6" and is cut from the same cloth as Luka Doncic, which is extremely high praise.

I saw that too. Interesting.
I can't wait to see how daddy coerces the Pelicans into trading up in the 2020 draft to team him up with Lonzo & Zion.

As a UCLA fan I have been paying attention to the brothers for several years and it was clear the middle bro was the weak link. However, it is surprising that Melo could overtake Lonzo. His shot is even funkier than Lonzo's if that's possible. However, I have to credit crazy old dad if he is able to get two of his kids drafted in the top 5. That's pretty impressive.
His shot is funky. It seems like he barely leaves the ground and just launches it.
It would be very amusing to see that the middle son, Le Angelo, end up signing a contract to play professional basketball in mainland China.
