Yes if coins taxable in your state looks the free ride of buying online out of state could be over. Not good for online sellers but could be boom for your local shows and online pickers. Won some commems off the bay significantly below bid last week wondered where were the other bidders.....

Since coins and bullion not taxable in Texas seen no impact for me.

Regardless tax sch c write off or if not filing that part of item cost basis. Just markup accordingly.

So far I've had 2 coin sales to Washington where the buyer was taxed!

They should - the laws apply to all equally. I just haven't bothered to figure out if CA taxes marketplaces.
