It's a Micro-O Monday PCGS members!
The 1905-O "Micro O" is a major variety in the Barber dime series and is extremely rare in all grades. This major variety was created when a die sinker used a mintmark punch designed for a quarter dollar. How many were minted is unknown. PCGS has only graded 268 total examples in all grades. NGC has only graded 50 total examples in all grades.
This example is absolutely phenomenal offering two-sided attractive toning rarely seen on this issue. A good majority of the examples out there offer dull unattractive eye-appeal. Not this stunner! This 1905-O Micro O Barber dime will blow you away! Bright teal, rose, tangerine and golden-orange hues swirl around the obverse. The reverse features tangerine, baby blue and canary-yellow hues. The eye-appeal is incredible! PCGS has only certified 7 examples in AU58.
