United Kingdom 1797 George III, 2 Pence , need some help please.

also listed under BST by mistake, sorry, was bit too hasty.
A friend approached me about the value of this coin.
As I have very limited (nearly none) knowledge about old (or new) brit coins, I promised her I would ask the experts on here.
She would really like to get an idea about its value and if there is a market for it. The coin was given to her by her mother many years ago.
Any help, grade etc and value would be much appreciated.
Thanks everyone

It looks like a descent original piece in chocolate brown, with a minimum of rim contact and no dings that I can see.
Looks to be nice AU. $125-$200 range.

I agree. Very nice, I'd say above average due to no rim dings. The heavy coin combined with the soft copper meant rim damage was common.

Not sure on exact value but I'd shoot for a hundred or a little more, for starters.

I would think that coin would sell for $150 or more if the image is accurate.

Thank you all for your very valuable and interesting input,
My friend will have to decide now what she wants to do with the coin.
She is located here in Canada , so shipping might only be possible as a parcel because of the dimensions.
Last I spoke with her, she is looking towards selling it.
Would you list it on Ebay?? or right here on BST?
If here, I will have to list it for her or sign her up here. But truly, she is not even a collector.
    Any suggestions?
Thank you all again for your great help. :)
    Have a great week all.

Yeah, I would say the coin is probably worth more like $250+.
