Anyone know anything about this Hungarian Medal?

Can't seem to find much of anything online about this. Any help appreciated.

It appears to be a religious medal of Saint Stephen of Hungary.

Saint Stephen or Stephen I the first king of Hungary AD 1000/1001 to 1038.

Made in 1988 of "patinated silver" and 47 mm diameter.

A "turul" is a mythological bird of prey similar to a hawk or eagle and is a symbol of Hungary.

    Per the info card shown:
Obv. Mythical bird of prey looking left

Rev. The double cross of St. Stephen held in right hand,
a stylized mark combining the P and the L for the
    coins creator, name: Papp Laszlo.
    STEPANUS REX around the border.

Perem/edge: szabalytalan, without restrictions or borders. This could mean
that it was struck open collared.

Tervezo/Creator: Papp Laszlo mint master In the Hungarian language the persons
family is listed first then the given name.

    A kiadas eve/ year issued: 1988

Kivitel: vert (IDEA) not sure about this

    Meret/Size: 47 mm

Keszult/ fabrication: Patinated silver .935 fine Not sure about 1200pld or 390pld
    could be pricing info.

St. Stephen is the first king of Hungary who brought Christianity to Hungary. In Hungary
he is held in the same high regard as George Washington is in the U.S. Hungary is notorious
for issuing commemorative coins and I mean any topic. I hope this helps.

I'll bet PLD is mintage, as it also appears after the handwritten number.
