SPALDING! Any Golf Ball Aficionados Out There?

I purchased this from a Spalding executive's estate and wondered if anyone could shed some information on it? I know Top Flite balls were not produced until 1971-72 and that both Nixon and Ford were golfers. I don't think Carter was. Is there any way to date this ball to a short span of years? I believe it to be from the 1970's based on the years the executive worked at Spalding. Additionally, is this some sort of novelty item that was sold to the public or is it something specific to the President at the time?
Thanks.

The actual presidential balls I've seen have had facsimile autos on them. I'm far from an expert in these, but would lean toward it being a novelty without some more research.
I was able to find a couple JFK/Ike golf balls with just 'Mr. President', but haven't found any later yet.

I purchased a Reagan ball from the same estate that had a facsimile auto on it. There is a Titleist ball currently listed on eBay (I don't put much value in listings) that does not have a name on it but does have Mr. President on it. Still researching, hoping someone on here can help out. Thanks for your reply.
