The Los Angeles Rams’ new home in Inglewood officially has a name. The team announced on Sunday that it will be called SoFi Stadium after the company purchased naming rights in a 20-year agreement.

Social Financial is a personal finance company that was founded in 2011 and is based in San Francisco. In addition to holding naming rights, SoFi will also be an official **partner **of each of the teams.

why doesn't dodge sponsor the place? Is it because they no longer make a ramcharger?

Sponsor means they pay to have their name on it. Partner means they probably put money in on the front end and getting paid on the back end somehow whether it be percentages on concessions, the land, sales of other advertising streams, tax breaks or a plethora of other potential money streams that flow through deals like these.

With few exceptions, the only sponsors are the sucker taxpayers. Maybe have them all enter and pick one to have his name on the venue.
