Not all problem coins are noncollectable...

Saw this surfing the web and thought issue aside it was still quite attractive.

Bet it won't net grade now. Can't see the hairlines in the pic but could see it going 62 from your description.
Edit to add...most proofs are graded by how many hairlines they have as long as they are not from abrasive cleaning. If you look at a proof hard enough you will hairline it!
Love the older ANACS white holders for these larger silver proof coins!

Price can cure many ills.
@291fifth I was thinking the same thing. At the right price, any coin is collectible to someone.
That one may deserve another try.
heck that is a decent looking coin
You know how you know if a coin is in demand when it shows on Gerry Fortin's web page? It is sold within the hour, or day. If the larger Seated Collecting community doesn't bite days after a coin has been posted. Well, the desirability of the coin has already been established.
I really do love the look of that Seated half though.
I guess it just shows that not everyone agrees with what a problem is.
Join the fight against Minnesota's unjust coin dealer tax law.
I still miss my lil ANACS proof seated half.
Now I see it as an icon here. Oh well, no idea why I sold it. Moody day maybe.
