COINS OF THE DAY (6/22/02): MONSTER FRANKLIN HALF DOLLARS

1. 1950 FRANKLIN HALF DOLLAR: PCGS-PR66CAM: INTENSE CAMEO CONTRAST AND WONDERFUL FOR THE GRADE. THIS CAMEO IS RELATIVELY VERY DEEP FOR JUST A CAMEO COIN. THIS WOULD BE THE CENTERPIECE OF MOST SERIOUS PROOF FRANKLIN COLLECTIONS.

2. 1951 FRANKLIN HALF DOLLAR: PCGS-PR67CAM: INTENSE CAMEO CONTRAST AND WONDERFUL FOR THE GRADE. THIS CAMEO IS ALSO RELATIVELY VERY DEEP FOR JUST A CAMEO COIN. THIS WOULD ALSO BE THE CENTERPIECE OF MOST SERIOUS PROOF FRANKLIN COLLECTIONS. I HAVE HANDLED THE ONLY "POP TOP" 1951 PROOF FRANKLIN IN PCGS-PR67DCAM (POP 1/0) AND THIS COIN IS THE NEXT BEST THING AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE.

3. 1952 FRANKLIN HALF DOLLAR: PCGS-PR66DCAM: SOLID DCAM COIN AND WONDERFUL FOR THE GRADE. MOST OF THE "TOP 5" REGISTERED SETS ARE MISSING THIS COIN IN GEM DCAM!! ANOTHER "CENTERPIECE" COIN.

    Check out Rick's current inventory on these early 50's CAM Franklins. Littlewicher- it is the other way around. It's time for Rick to play 'catch up'.
