Does anybody know anything about this print flaw? I know for a fact that it is reoccurring because I have 2 of these that are identical. I was just wondering if anybody knew how scarce it is, if at all. I do know that I searched Ebay and COMC and could not find another. Here it is.
Yes! This is larger than we think. This is going to end up being one of the rarest print defects in the history of baseball cards. Even rarer than the '90 Topps Rick Wrona. We just need to use forensic online image matching to see the entire afflicted area.
When moons transit from one card to another at warp speed they leave no impression on the card from which they disembarked. Their emergence leaves no footprint.

This is the moon in background variation! Maybe it's the Earth...can't be so sure.
Have you touched the card ? If so, you are hell bound for sure. Gaze not upon it again.
That's the more common half moon error. The rare one is the one with the full moon.
Just some schmootz on the printing plate. Either a drop sweat from a worker or
a small glob of special sauce from a Big Mac.
Fun variation from a cheap set.
1992 Collectors Edge Football case?
Yep, a glob of dried up black ink on the k printing plate.
It looks like you will have to find an afflicted 1988 Donruss #237 Marvell Wynne to complete the moon.
