Need Help Identifying Vintage Airplane Cards

Hey people!
I am a card collector and cannot identify these vintage Airplane Cards. They have a magazine like feel to it and are made by the Philadelphia Chewing Gum Corp. I'm guessing late 40's early 50's? Anyways, I'm completely stumped on identifying these! Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Adam

If anyone will know, my homie @MorrellMan will. He's all up in cool aviation stuff.

ACC designation is R-788-1; issued 1952 by Philadelphia Chewing Gum. I've never seen one of these.
According to the NSB, they were issued in folders - 8 cards in a complete set. The intact folders are worth 2-3 times a single card, probably due to scarcity.
I searched and searched and couldn't find a single picture of a folder; yours look like they were separated from the lower half (?).
At any rate, you are 25% along to completing the set!

Here's another website if you really like airplane cards.

  • Thanks everyone for your help! I actually have a total of 4 different ones of these, including 2 American Airlines, Western Airlines, Eastern Airlines, and Delta! They are really cool and I'm halfway to the set!!

  • @MorrellMan, What does ACC Designation and NSB mean? I mainly collect baseball and football cards, and my dad recently showed me these cards he got from a distant cousin in the 1970s!.

American Card Catalog (ACC) – The book written by Jefferson Burdick that provided classifications for various sets (i.e. T206, E90, etc.)
NSB - Total guess here, Non-Sports Bible? Not sure if this is referring the to Sports Americana Price Guide series or a different book, but was able to locate these in the 1930-1960 edition I finally got a copy of this week.

    +1 for skytamer.com

That site has a ton of great obscure info on foreign sets.
