hockey 8x10 autograph (unknown team and autograph)

I have a photo signed and framed , there is no name on the front or back to identify the player and I do not recognize the uniform , if anyone can help with the name of the player and team that would be great

    This is a guess and needs further research ...

    1. Shoulder patch and shell logo indicates a team affiliated with Montreal Canadians
    2. Point 1, combined with big H on chest, makes me think Hamilton Bulldogs
    3. Equipment being used is late 90s or early 00s, I’d guess
    4. Player is clearly number 23
    5. I’m going with Duncan Milroy, letters in auto would make sense. A “maybe if it changed as he got older” compared to autos available online

    All this is guesses and two minutes of google, needs more investigation

    thank you i picked it up at goodwill in the picture frame bin . i should have thought of looking up some of the local teams. the bulldogs play in the next city over from mine

    oh down in the autograph section of the site i have a hockey signature that need help with , all names on stick identified but it
