Inventory/collection management software
Happy holiday everyone. Would anyone who uses software and/or a website to manage their inventory weigh in on what they use and what they like about it? Have you switched from something to something else? This would be mainly to keep track of what I have, not necessarily to be an inventory manager for selling items, though that would be fine it there is something that is a do-it-all. Free would be ideal, but reasonably priced for a robust program could be worth it.
I am currently creating an Excel document. I collect vintage and modern, and with the different variables for modern cards (serial numbered, autographed, jersey patch, stool sample, etc.) there just keeps being more and more columns, so logging each card takes forever. If there was something that can somewhat autofill some of that information, that would be awesome.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Sort of answering my own question, but it looks like the PSA site works well for their graded cards as well as non-PSA cards. Does anyone use this as their main inventory manager?
I tried using the PSA website for all cards graded and not graded. Issue was, if it was not a card graded by PSA it could not be entered if I remember right. Excel is my main tool. I use https://www.tradingcarddb.com/ for raw and PSA for graded too.

This is exactly how I keep track of my Longoria collection. Scan all cards into TCDB and keep an excel inventory spreadsheet as well.

Hi Erik!
Thanks everyone.
The PSA site works well if they have already have a spec of that card. I tried entering a modern auto/relic card I had and, as one has not yet been graded, it didn’t pull in the description. I can enter it manually, but again goes back to my point of many attributes that need to be added.
Trading card DB had everything I entered so far. Just curious, why have the people who responded that they use this also maintain a spreadsheet?
I like the flexibility of a spreadsheet. It is just not as visually appealing as Trading Card DB. With EXCEL I can slice and dice data all day long to get what I want. Exports from Trading card DB leave something to be desired in my opinion.

In my partiicular case, I started with an excel download players checklist from the Beckett site. I added a few additional columns such as price paid, Psa Graded, etc. Also have a Yes/No column where if I have a card, I fill out that column with a Yes. That way when a card comes up for auction, I can quickly filter to see if I need it or already have it.
True TCDB may have some of that functionality and it may be a little redundant to maintain both, but I found that site after I'd initially created my spreadsheets. Also, why the TCDB has the majority of my Longoria cards listed, there are a few that are not, so I have a complete list in the excel format.
Best part of TCDB for me is that I like being able to view my collection whenever I want on their site.

Great feedback guys, thanks for the help. As this process will be horribly painful, I figured if I enter one card a day, I should finish by the time an all in one super software comes out to do everything I just did automatically. It’ll be perfect.
