It's certainly irritating but it's not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Wonder if the extra exposure is worth the tariff. Seems to be imposed only in the product sells.

on a sponsored auction, you get two spots on your listing, one is sponsored and the other is a regular, that's why when your searching, you will see the same auction twice sometimes. you only get charged the extra selling fees if the buyer buys from the sponsored auction. I got a 50 percent off final value fees to try this about 3 months ago. everything I had sponsored sold

Is sponsored the same as "promote" listing?

I wonder if this avenue would work for select pieces in my inventory?

it's the same thing, you can promote your auction for as little as 1 percent of the final value fees, and you will only be charged if they buy from the sponsored auction, so there is only about a 50/50 chance you get charged the extra one percent

You can not Promote..."Sponsor an auction yet. It's only available for fixed price listings.

Why??? ITs not like you pay more when buying. The seller is the one that pays. It just helps the sellers listing go towards the top. If I'm selling, I want the best possible avenue for my coin to sell.

Of course you need to add into the fact that a sponsored listing will cost you more in selling fees

The only thing I have seen them accomplish is to destroy the Sort feature.

Which means a nuisance to me.

Very annoying especially with the way I search and buy on da bay. Can't avoid and they cost me an extra second every time I refresh. Missed some killer deals as a result.
