Engraved by John Ray Sinnock and struck at the Philadelphia Mint. While it is dated 1933, this medal type was struck for many years after. The surface finish of this example, indicates that it is an early strike.
There is wear on the high points and rims, and a few small scratches - typical of a medal of this size that has not been properly cared for.
