And then you woke up from your dream! That sumb*tch is on STEROIDS I'm telling you! That's why he's been getting hurt so much lately, and these past couple years. He thought he'd start taking steroids to settle his cheap contract he signed, which is good for him that he signed just so he could play in Cinci, but d@mn...he ain't doing anything! Injuries, injuries, injuries = steroids, steroids, steroids...and don't say it's just a coincedence either...

i just think that he needs a change of teams. hes gotta go somewhere where he wont be the center of attention and be considered the savior. thats what he got when he went to cincy... he knew it would be like that but he doesnt like that kind of attention and pressure put on him. i know as a superstar you should be able to handle it... but being that you are going to the team your father is coachin on and had played many years for... that is a $hit load of pressure on a guy. i think that if he goes to another team, where he is not the only superstar, you will start to see him blossom and get back to form. im not sayin he will become the best player in the game again... but i can see him becoming one of the best in the game again.


and what do steriods have to do with anything? just cause a player is gettin hurt all the time means he is on roids? a lot of his injuries have been caused b/c of being tenative on the previous injury. like with his hamstring. when you nurse that hamstring and dont run normal... you run the risk of injuring another part of your body b/c you are not using it right. or when you break a bone in your hand and you adjust your swing a certain way... you run the risk of hurting your shoulder or arm. there are all sorts of things that cause injuries like griffey has suffered. i think the majority of it though is that he is just tryin so hard to prove the people in cincy wrong... that he is not a waste, or harmful to the team. when you try too hard and push yourself... you get hurt... just look at geoff jenkins... he rounded third to try and score... but before he realized it he had to get back to third... as soon as he planted his foot... it just bent backwards. Now he is out for 3-4 months... he was hurt last year too... maybe he is on roids

I have a lot of Griffey memorabilia including his rookie year batting helmet and would love to be able to continue to collect stuff from him. But, It's fork time for the old guy. I don't want to be stuck with all of this stuff and everybody looking at him like a Rickey Henderson or Joe Montana. He should quit on top like big Mac. That leaves guys like me with our investments lon in tact. Just my thoughts.

JTF quit on top?!?!?!? if you think he shouldve quit on top it shouldve been 3 years ago man he cant retire now hes still really young man i agree with the opinion that he should leave cincinatti ,he should head back the the AL
