Del Romines first strike (Dels' grandson}
Hi, my name is Brian Wooldridge, I am Del Romines grandson. I have fallen on some hard times and I need to liquidate some things to make ends meet. One of those things is my grandfathers first strike when he began to learn die making. It's unfortunate that I have to let it go, but it's just the way things are. I was the only one in the family that shared his interest in coins, fossils and Indian artifacts. Although, I was more into the fossils and Indian artifacts. Basically I just need to know what kind of value this item has. I know his tokens can sell for a little bit after doing a little research. I also have some other tokens as well that I intend to sell that I will ask about after finding out about this one first. Any info would be greatly appreciated and you can also ask me anything about my grandfather.

I never got to meet your Grandfather but he made some significant contributions to our hobby!
Was he a tool and die maker?
I believe he was. By the time I was at an age were I was interested in the same hobbies, he had long quit making tokens. He would give me buckets of coins, mostly foreign coins but I still liked them. I remember one time he gave me a roll of V nickels and it had a 1913. I looked it up and freaked out but it turned out he forged a 1918 to look like 1913 lol.
