Just wanted to share my set which won Best of Africa Gold Award this year, after last year's Best New Set.
These coins minted by the British Protectorate of Egypt were used extensively in Palestine until replaced by the British Mandate coins beginning in 1927. The mandate ended in 1948 and after Israel's War of Independence, new coins were issued by the newborn State of Israel.
