Is it a planchet?

Cleaned out a storage unit from a 90 year old couple who passed. Lots of old world silver coins, tokens and this item. 6.2 g, 23.9 mm, 1.9 mm and it is magnetic. Has a slight rim, not a punch out, edge is curved onto both obv and rev rims. Could this be the beginning of a foreign coin? Peace Roy

Not 100% convinced it is not a fuse box or other punch out but if it is a blank it could very easily be a token blank.

Thanks @JBK I wasn't thinking token. I'm good with that.
