    better overall player than kobe? You got to be kidding son. Moses was a great rebounder and had a great career, but never will he have the abilitys of a kobe.

    yah.. but malone deserves it.. he has the all-time record for offensive boards.. I mean.. he simply is the best player ever to jump from hs to the nba.. he was the first as well.. ya simply can't deny that no matter how great you think Kobe is

    It would be Kevin Garnett in the last 10 years... because it took Kobe more years to get up to the top
    (Garnett had the fastest impact the last 10 years from h.s. to nba)

    yes, but your saying malone is better because he simply was a hall of famer and a great rebounder. So were alot of other players man. So yes your point can be argued using shaq, because shaq is not a hall of famer is he? So let me ask you this. Is shaq better than moses? Cmon now man. I've never seen such a hatred for kobe from a lakers fan like you. You don't collect his cards you always say shaq is #1. Without kobe shaq would of lost to the spurs son period. You know it I know it we all know it. I respect what shaq does and you should respect what kobe does for the team son.

I'm just sayin' that Moses has been the better player jumping from hs to the nba.. that's all.. kobe can become the better of the 2 when his career goes on but right now it's Malone.. can't deny that 'son'

    Kobe of course, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a big fan. Even if I wasn't a fan and I was a "Kobe hater" like a lot of people, then I'd still say him because none of the others come close...

    lol well 'son' a lot of ppl visiting nba.com are ppl who know squat about bball and just know kobe by name, and vote for him.. when a player's hot, they'll vote for him, same thing with the question whether this laker team is better than the kareem-magic-worthy team.. 70% voted yes, yet they haven't proven that they're better..
    well I'm just gonna stop answering here cauz it's really like they say.. you can't talk any sense into you guys (and yes that includes you too Derrick) Kobe's the best in your eyes, better than Jordan, better than Shaq, better than anyone.. that's ur right.. but that doesn't mean I have to agree with it.. so byah..

    Malone was a great player. He would have to be the the best of his era. He has some great stats but I would have to say at the end of Kobe's career he will be the best ever. He could be in the NBA for a long time more.

    Here's the formula:

    (PTS + REB + AST + STL + BLK) - ((FGA - FGM) + (FTA - FTM) + TO) + 4 points if their team wins
