Found in penny bank roll. What is it ?

    Sorry, but it's just environmental damage that occurred after it left the mint. It isn't an error.

    Fair chance the copper color is environmental damage or a failed attempt at plating. It has the wrong look for a dime struck on a penny planchet. You could check the weight and look at the edge to confirm it is clad.
