Interesting mechanical error.....and a Canadian that knows his US Presidents.

Saw this at AAA Stamp and Coin in Victoria. Was impressed the shop owner knew his US Presidents better than many Americans would!

You definitely went to the wrong Coin shop in Victoria. I am very familiar with the shop and its Owner.
if you were looking for bargains, like misrepresented grades, wrong designations and extremely overpriced items.... THEN you went to the right place.
But, if you were looking for fairness when selling something.... you very definitely went to the **wrong **place.
sorry for me being so very negative on this one. I believe there is hardly a honest collector on Vancouver Island who would not agree with me. Most stay away from his store.
It is several negative experiences I personally had at that shop on Fort Street.
I actually picked up numerous bargains there because of the owner not knowing what he had. In one case, after I had paid the item I bought, he said I bought it under false pretenses. I suggested if he is so sure about it to call the Police. Which he declined. That would have opened up a huge can of worms for him......
Didn't buy anything - just had a very pleasant conversation with the owner and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Just like any coin shop, the buyer needs to beware.
