Never could figure out this card. Any ideas ?
Looks like perhaps some sheets of tin set up around the perimeter of a practice field giving some height to an existing stone wall to maybe protect cars or houses or pedestrians nearby???
When I worked for the Cubs Gordy was our Director of Minor Leagues and had some awesome stories about playing for bad teams. I had this card and never thought of having him sign it. I still kick myself to this day.
I believe it is a set of bleachers behind a stone wall. The vertical line in the middle leads me to believe there is also some sort of netting(or fence) in front of the bleachers. I could be right or I could be wrong. I could just be a moron, which is what many people have told me.
yessir. i highly doubt that someone was trying to draw the pyramids of giza behind gordon freaking goldsberry. i tend to side with depth perception leaving a lot to be desired back in 1952.

Same pattern up and down, staggered a bit. Whoever created the design for this card clearly had Microsoft Paint.
I vote stands.

Spring training stadium ?
Since we are figuring out odd stuff riddle me this, why is the Cather and Hitter both wearing Indian logos at a game?
The people in the stands threw me off. Figured it was a mistake or something

Can any of you figure out what the deal with this card is?
Not sure exactly what you mean, but it is a “costume swatch” card from one of the characters on this TV show.
I think that's Sammy Sosa...
He's not white enough to be Sammy Sosa.
Jermaine Jackson. It’s likely a rare, event-worn scarf card.

Seriously, in reference to the OP, that is a nice looking 1952 Topps Goldsberry card.
