    It's a Sutler token. Look up V. Beaudry U.S. Calvery token on the net.

    Thanks I did get that far but could not come with the 25 cent version? Also, the 1866 must have been added later for a different reason. It cannot be the date, maybe a cost check thing?

    It is listed as US-1b-25B in the Sutler token book. The book has it listed as a rarity-10 which means it is thought to be unique. The book does not have a picture of the 25 cent version but gives a price of $1,500 in VF. It is likely that yours could be an additional example making this token actually a Rarity-9. I can’t vouch for authenticity but Steve Hayden would be the go to person for this. If you are attending the World’s Fair of Money this week, Steve will have a table there.

    Thanks CWT1863. It is holed and punched with an 1866 so i am assuming its not that valuable but kinda cool..
