From someone born in that year this is a touch call. While I like both #355 edges out the other with more equal toning from obverse to reverse in my eye. Very nice specimens indeed!

Thanks to all for the nice comments. When I saw them I had to have them both. One predominantly blue with specs of orange, and the other predominantly orange with specs of blue.
I had no idea clad would do that. (Although I have seen some nice blue nickels, and I believe the nickel alloy is the same as the outer layers of a clad coin).
