I laugh at their prices for midgrade Barber Half's. My only explanation is they are covering their buts for some of the crap out their in their holders these days!
If you have nice original semikey or key date Barber Half's in PCGS Holders...I'm a buyer at or above(sometimes well above) PCGS Prices!

They don't use their price guide for guarantee purposes so that wouldn't make a lot of sense to me.

Then again, think of it this way: How many truly original eye appealing better date issues do you see for every dozen dipped out, lackluster coins? My experience is that the latter is over represented in the Barber market. Nicer stuff would be expected to do better.
The only time I ever had a guarantee paid was for 2 MS67 steel cents that corroded to H and back in the holder. There reimbursement was full PCGS price guide at the time. Don't know what they do these days as this was probably 10 years or more ago.

Good question, comrade.
when gold is moving $30 a day, it should be hourly.
For some issues I wonder if it is biennially. I don't think there is a set time for many/most collector coins except for generics.

Monthly?
My pricing for most part CDN based so use my phone app for CDN bid / CPG which I think is updated hourly.
Not sure, so far as colors go...
Red is for after I win one and green is for after I sell one.
My Saint Set
...and why is there a delay in updating my Registry's once the Price Guide is updated?
