Me: I'm so sick of all the different parallels and colors of rainbows

Also me:

2013 Topps is my absolute favorite Albert Pujols Topps card, and I've been a big fan of his since I got back into collecting years ago. Not just for what he does on the field, but what he does off the field to help those with Down Syndrome.

A few weeks ago, I had an idea to fill up a 9 pocket page of colorful refractors of this card, but realized there were more than 9, and one thing led to another. :)

This was assembled using eBay, COMC, Beckett and most importantly, BO. Shout out to enyouartist for the help! I never thought I'd have a superfractor of Pujols.

I don't have the pink /5 refractor or atomic /10 and while I can live without them, I could certainly live with them as well! I'm mainly thankful/happy to enjoy what I've been able to get without worrying if it is "complete" or not.

I know what you mean, just when you think you have them all, another one pops up. I'm just waiting for the day they make an edible creme filled refractor.

Not as extreme but this makes possibly the worst mainstream baseball card set ever produced seem a bit more interesting.

    Hiya Tanner

    Good to see you.

But, don't ya think in their own "small" way, Topps is saving the planet?

I used to be the SAME. But then Topps Heritage ended all that. Love the chase card inserts.

    Ya know?

    I have to say.

There's something fun about opening packs and putting a set together - 1 card at a time.

To be clear, I really do love rainbows - but only because my mindset isn't in "supercollector mode" anymore. It is fun to be able to put together a rainbow that is fulfilling in my eyes, and not necessarily completing it because the checklist says so. I am working on one other rainbow at the moment too, which is super fun - it is from an unlicensed set though, so you may want to divert your eyes when I have enough of it to show off :)

There's actually 3 variations of each for 91D: the Factory vs Wax front border differences noted, and Wax can also be found with INC. or INC (no period) on the back.

For 91F, I think there are only two variations of nearly all. Check where the bio lines up with the stats on the back or the colored columns line up with the stats.

2000 is my cutoff for eBay searches. It just got to be too much.

Exactly why I do not buy, do not collect, do not care about new stuff. Will always collect when there was one rookie and not 25 with 20 variations of each. :)
