Is this legit?

I have been out of collection cards for about 19yrs now and starting to get back into it. I thought by now this wax box would be more I'm I missing something here?

    There are tens of thousands of these out there. A zillion Griffey's as well. With so much supply it's a bit shocking that it is not cheaper.

    Oh wow thanks for the update at a time people were going crazy for that 89 upper deck Griffey what happen to it or was it always like that?

    Just checked recent sales and that seems about right for the going price. Does look like it went up a bit.

    Tho, for about the same money, I would recommend one find a box "also" marked FASC.

    The internet radically changed the game, removing any thoughts that the card was pretty scarce. Back in 2000, eBay was just getting popular for sports cards. Now, you can find an endless number of Griffey rookies on eBay.

    Gem Mint condition copies still set well, but the rest have settled in price.

    You should really take a look at the documentary "Jack of all Trades" on Netflix. It basically is about a guy finding out his Ken Griffey 1989 upper deck is not worth what he thought it would be and him going on a journey to find out why.

    "Jack of all Trades" is mostly about the guys family drama. Not so much baseball cards.
