Bbce booth update

What did it look like at the end today? Did they sell out of most of the 70’s and 80’s or still quite a bit left? Any other updates on the happenings today???

I was there yesterday and they had lots of stuff still in stock. I also saw those 8 packs of 1952 Topps (non Mantle series) were still there collecting dust at $575,000. The person at BBCE told me that they haven't had any "serious" offers. Good luck selling that one.
I offered 100k which was closer to "market". He declined politely.
Those packs aren't seriously for sale. Like I said yesterday, museum pc for them. It will draw people and then they will buy other stuff. It's presence alone will generate sales.

A single PSA 8 1952 Topps baseball wax pack sold for over 62K via Memory Lane in 2017.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
There is a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA 8 on Ebay right now. It's already up to $250,600 with 7 days still to go in the auction.
Here's me holding that beauty on Friday at the National
It's really stark to think back on the unopened market over the past 15-20 years. The last time I attended a National was in Anaheim in 2006. During that show, BBCE had loads of 1960s packs with stars showing. I bought a few ('68 wax with Aaron AS showing, '69 wax with Nettles RC showing). It also used to be common to find unopened 60s boxes scattered through the show. Now these types of items are as common as dodo birds. Now mid-70s wax boxes are the scarce unopened items.
How long will it take before you can go to a National and not come across 70s unopened?
LOL. Damn.
I picked up a 1981 Topps baseball cello box on Thursday.
Didn’t see any 1980 Topps cellos which I thought was interesting.
He's probably thinking "you cant afford me" lol
That’s no surprise at all. 1980 Topps has been enfuego for a long time.
