The search engine is bringing up cards that should not be in the final result. For example, tonight I typed in "baseball" then 1960 Topps. The first page was correct, then the next 5 pages brought up cards from all years, and all manufacturers. What is going on? Several emails to them has changed nothing so far. The old site worked great---why mess with success

I agree. I had my searches organized in the old set up and now it is a mess when I try to search. I can't wait to purchase a card it will probably be just as painful.
No matter what you search with it always bring up their entire inventory. Some of the results you want might be at the top, but if you sort by recently added it gives you everything they added recently, regardless of what you have in for search terms.
How they launched this with this fundamental critical issue is beyond me.

We have an internal website for our inventory system at work. We have a development system and a live system for this very reason. Once everything has been tested on the development system (and I mean everything) then we move it all over to the live system. This eliminates a lot of these types of issues. I think this process is becoming a thing of the past with all the website builders and third party content creators.

Does one need to create a new account? I tried logging in with my email address (which was not my old user name) and my old password and it does not work.
That's been my experience too (didn't have an email address based account and using the email address associated with my previous account does not work). I emailed them again about it this morning. I had contacted them a week or more ago and was asked to try again in a few days. Presently all of my purchase history is inaccessible.

So what do people plan to do here? At the moment, I do not have an account. Are original accounts supposedly going to be restored at some point, or will we have to create new ones?
If I wanted something now I would just create a new account. I don’t have high faith that they will be able to restore any old accounts.

I messaged them earlier this week as a follow up. They sent me a spreadsheet of my previous orders for my records and confirmed sales history will not be migrated to the new system. Fyi.

So are they saying we should just create new accounts?
Here is what they said about that copied from the email:
You will need to use your email associated with your old account and
"create a new password", once you have created a new password, you would
then be able to log into the new site.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

God, the search engine is brutal. Has anyone figured out how to get the results you actually want? When I search for “1978 topps psa 9” I am getting all grades. When I limit to baseball, I then cannot sort for newest first without getting tons of bogus results mixed in. I appreciate discounts but it’s kind of tough to use them when you can’t find what you want.
From their recent email:
TEMPORARY SEARCH TIP: Use quotation marks to narrow your search. For example type in "1974 Topps" or "PSA 9"
You might need to break it up and use "1978 topps" & "psa 9" as the search terms.
I tried using quotes and it actually returned more results rather than less. LOL! Temporary solution: search and build order on eBay, then move to site to place order.
Got all my info on there going back to 2014. Used same email, changed password. I do my searches with quotations, but that's a work in progress at best LOL
I did this and my order history is not there.
