Tim Hortons meeting

I was at Tim Hortons a while back and while there Wayne Gretzky came in and so had a mag signed , and he stayed around and signed for most everyone that was there before leaving afterwards.. framed the mag so it wouldn't get dog-eared.

    i always bring a mag with me when i go to tims to read with a drink . 2010 is my newest copy

    its personalized .. it says " To Jeremy and Justin , Wayne Gretzky " peeps had napkins , donut takeout bags , one lady had her romance novel signed , lots had their caps signed ,

    Poor ol' Wayne, he comes in for a cup of coffee, and he's swarmed. Going to McDonalds for an Egg McMuffin must be hell for the guy.

    Wayne needs one of these for his trips out into public. Wayne, buddy, if you're out there listening, order one of these online. It's the best $1.25 + shipping you'll ever spend.

    a costume might be in order too to go with those glasses.. he looked tired after the tims visit when he left.. customers even circled the car in the parking lot to get him to open the car window to sign more

    Wayne went into that Timmies expecting to sign everything.

    He is such a solid guy, I know of some good stories from buddy's that have bumped into him. A man of the people, incredibly gracious and loves a good cocktail. Throwback type of athlete.

    yes he is very friendly.. ive run into others either at coffee shops , flea markets or in public and some in my neighbourhood .. had gaye stewart over to the house twice.. he lived a few blocks from our home.. ran into bower at a flea market shopping , gretzky at the tims and sittler at a car show . and down the street ron sedlbauer was a paper route customer. . tommy joe coffey lives downtown here in one of the apts.

    I feel like I live under a rock - had no idea what Tim Hortons was.

    He was recently signing TTM pretty solid (non auto-pen).

    thanks glad got it framed too . looks good hanging on my wall with the other pics I have
