Ernest Shackleton is an absolute legend. I watched a documentary called "Chasing Shackleton", about his famous Antarctic expedition which ended with his ship being crushed and sank by arctic ice. Him and his men were stranded in the arctic for over 500 days, and he ended up saving the lives of 27 men. They went through a horrifying ordeal. It's an unbelievable story, check it out if you get a chance.

Prewar non-sport sets generally are not that expensive, however, there have been a few discoveries in the past few years that suggest that different American Caramel Co sets were printed on the same sheets including some of their baseball players and boxers.

I picked this Ernest Shackleton card up about a year ago. The man is a legend.
