I see a lot of differences between the last few years.

I think it looks like another design that could have been 90’s Fleer Ultra. Of the 4 years shown I like the 2019 best as it reminds me a little of ‘82 Topps. The other 3 look too similar to me.

Does anyone know if Heritage will continue up through the 80s? I’ve got to imagine once they get to 1988, it will be a tough sell.

Maybe it's just me but the designs all look the same to me.

I'm totally on board with you. Really not much difference from year to year. Need to get back to completely different designs like they did in the 70's or before. A border would also be nice again.

The lack of borders is what makes all the recent designs look the same. There’s only so much you can do to make a card look different than another when you use full bleed photos. I also agree that it would be nice if Topps changes things up a little and put a border on their cards. Yo be true to their heritage they could put borders on the flagship Topps series and stay full photo on Stadium Club.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Without borders, the cards sorta lose their identity. I certainly don't mind the full bleed photos, but it was easy to recognize which year a card was when the border was the design.

I'll stop buying Heritage after the 1985 issue most likely.

They will go to at least 1991 I would think.

1990 a super rare no name on front version of the key rookies would generate interest.

1991 they have Desert Shield - if done right one or two packs per case could be all Desert Shield In it to keep the ratio about the same.

I believe this will be fun to rip. Should be several key rookies that didn't make 2019 Update.

It would be so interesting to see how modern collectors received a new release from Topps that was the exact cardboard stock of 85 Topps for example and a design comparable to the 80’s. Just have those in the fancy new packages for the regular issue Topps. That would be fun!

Isn't that basically what Heritage is? I just purchased my first Heritage box and was actually disappointed compared to the upscale Topps Chrome.

Have been watching some pack break videos and this seems like a nice set. I think Topps really stepped up the photography.
