IF............. Kobe was traded for Iverson who would win titles? mvp honors(season and finals)?,and also what would the record of the lakers be compared to the sixers?please let me knowimageimageimage

    Sixers record would go up. Lakers would go down. Allen would act like a baby and end up on the bench like Mitch Richmond. Regular season mvp would be shaq or kobe depending on which team won most games. Finals mvp would be whoever wins the title.

    first of all iverson wouldn't work with shaq, because iverson couldn't handle being in somebodys shadow. Iverson would average less points and be forced to be 2nd option to shaq being 1st of course. Kobe would average 30+ppg 10 assists and 10 rebs in philly easy. If kobe already averages 25.5 5.5 5.5 being 2nd option I couldn't imagine him being #1 option in philly in the eastern confrence. As for iverson in l.a we much rather have kobe, because he brings way more excitement to the game than 1 silly crossover. That's just the god honest truth.

    it's also pretty funny you newbie kids don't remember when teams use to lineup to play the lakers before. Utah swept the lakers with kobe being a rookie and shaq on the team. The next year the spurs swept the lakers aswell. Shaq was swept by jordan and hakeem. It wasn't until kobe matured and started playing more that the lakers started winning. Let's see here. Shaq with penny got swept by the rockets, shaq with kobe playing a mere 7mins per game didn't do much without kobe. You people seem to forget shaq was in the league 7-8 years before kobe started actually playing real minutes. Shaq and kobe need each other to win the title plain and simple. Kobe could easily go off scoring 56 in 3 quarters in the eastern confrence daily, but he chooses to be a winner- Theres nothing wrong with being a winner people.

    Anyone who thinks Iverson is better than KObe will have about as much success convincing people that Brian Grant is better than Duncan.

    all you guys talk shizzle about how many shot attempts Ivy takes compared to Kobe but he is the #1 option on that team, put Koe in his place and he would wind up the same

    lemme know this Kobe is not the first option on the lakers and also when they lose he is not the one anybody looks at to lay blame,whos the first guy in the press confrence....Shaq
    Does Kobe have great talent?....... Yes he is a great player along with many others in the league
    How great would your Hero be if he was in Charlotte the past few years which was where he was drafted and then traded by them to the Lakes tell me that NBAologist
    Put Kobe in a hard game every night of the season and he would have to play alot harder than he does now,he would have to make all decisions and nobody could help him.
    Just like Iverson in Philly who is his help? What if he has an off night?

    I have to say this about Iverson. Shot attempts don't bother me. His shot selection does. He has Mutombo on his team. He can play. I think that there a quite a few players on his team that have talent, but I don't think the coach or Iverson utilize the other's talents. I agree that Iverson would have problems playing behind Shaq.

    Brian Grant being compared to Tim Duncan is worse than an Iverson/Kobe comparison, but it couldn't be as bad as a Manut Bol/Gheorge Mureasan comparison...

    Put kobe on charlotte and they would have baron davis and kobe. Espn said it would be like jordan and pippen, but a hell of alot quicker. Penetration up the a hole son. Guess what though dawg? Kobe is l.a not charlotte. Jordan was a bull not a clipper ok? You could go on forever on players being on a certain team. If jordan was a washington bullet would he still of won? Who knows who cares he was a bull ok? You get the point? Kobe is with shaq not iverson not mcgrady not vince carter ok? Iverson has another starter for a allstar team in mutombo. Mutombo use to average atleast 20 ppg before he went to philly. Derrick coleman can score whenever he gets the chance. Stop blaming iversons poor shot selection on who does he have to pass the ball to. Theres 4 other players on his team. Give speedy claxton 30 shots a game and I guarentee you he will score atleast 25-30. Man only kids 15-16 year olds actually think iverson is a better player than kobe.

    It's pure insanity to put that ballhogs name besides kobe. Kobe avg 26ppg 8 rebs and 5 assists taking only 19 shots per game in the finals- he shot over 50% and your still hating on the guy? Until iverson can actually shoot over 40% which he should do come talk to me.
